If i were a believer
I would choose to believe in humanity, restore the blind faith that once was.
I would choose to see the world through the little ones' eyes,
hopless with trust.
If i were a believer I would believe in unconditional love,
not only the love of self
or our own,
but the love of our enemies too and those we dont have ties to.
If i were a believer i would believe we could one day lay down and surrender our arms turn the earth into a happy home. Put a stop,
abolish human sacrifice
on the altar of the Godess of war.
If i were a believer i would believe that if we all take only what we need,
there would be enough to go around.
Then maybe, just maybe we could end poverty in India,
replaces the frevelaz in rio with real homes and clothe africa.
If i were a believer I would believe in fate,
even though fate also picks its favourates.
I would choose to believe in the immaculate conception with all its impossibilities, ignoring the voice of logic and reason.
If i were a believer I would believe in faith,
as the world is simpler and less stress full that way.
When you believe the impossible can happen.
If i were a believer i would believe in God, the Christian God,
The Muslim God,
The Hindu God,
all the Gods.
I would chose to believe that they are all one.
But most of all, if i were a believer i would choose to believe in my self,
i would choose to doubt my limits to love and accept myself.
That way i will be able to love and accept you too with no insecurities or fears detering me.
